Chicos Just Want To Have Fun

Marianna Nisoli (2aI)

Have you ever thought of spending a week in a wonderful Spanish city? If you like the idea and want to practise your Spanish, you can do it. Take, for example, my experience. I went on a school trip to Valencia. It was a wonderful holiday! We stayed with a Spanish host family and we attended a course as well.

Every morning we went to school for four hours. You might think: “What a bore! Lessons also on a school trip!”. Before this experience I thought so, too, but you must trust me: I had a lot of fun during the lessons!

Valencia is wonderful! We went to the City of Arts and Sciences and the Aquarium. We visited the cathedral and we went to the top of the bell-tower called Miguelete

In the afternoon we went sightseeing around the city. Valencia is wonderful! We went to the City of Arts and Sciences and the Aquarium. We visited the cathedral and we went to the top of the bell-tower called Miguelete. We also visited the Mercado de Colón, which is a big building where there is a market every morning. It was very interesting and it was not boring at all, because every student had to explain one of the sights we visited.

The weather was very good every day. On a sunny and windy day we went to the beach. It was a wonderful day! We also dipped our feet in the sea! We ate typical Spanish food like paella and chocolate with churros.

It was a wonderful experience to practise our Spanish and to visit the city. I recommend a similar trip to everybody. We had a lot of fun and now we can speak Spanish much better.
